cowden

this past week  has been a busy one we have had a tranny blow from driver error a truck  truck roll over while dumping driver error and also bad cylinder design.we have also had a radiator blow due to hitting a pot hole and having bad rear motor mounts. and still trying to keep up on services. i have learned its not always just the trucks wearing out sometimes the drivers help out.                            in the past seven days i have worked 67.30 hours . i will have pictures next blog.

I have  already done the flow meeter in class and on Friday was able to do a tranny at work i took out the old tranny and took off all the fittings and sensors swapped them on the new eaton and put it back in. i have learned that there is a lot more to removing a transmission then doing it in class although it gives you a good idea on whats going on. sorry no pictures.

IT was a great experience hosting the danish students the past couple weeks.i have learned a lot about their culture and have been able to teach and show them about ours. i can only suggest that next year even if you are not hosting a  student you should  be involved in activities with them and get to know them.

i was doing a standard break job on a pup trailer replacing the pads and the drum. when i took the pads off  i noticed  the pads were worn unevenly so i checked the s cam  and noticed the bushings were worn . i have learned that you always need to pay attention to what you are working on because it can indicate other problems.
